Today we're going to take a look at the replacement short frame hook for the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider or Trail Rider Z-Spec bike racks. Now this will replace the short frame hook for your Hollywood Racks Sport Rider or the Trail Rider Z-series bike carrier. This part here is what we'll go on to your upright arm and it'll adjust along that upright arm with this push to release lever. On the hook itself you can see it has a nice rubber coating because it goes around your frame, so it doesn't scratch or damage your bike frame. It is for a quantity of one short frame hook. And this is lockable, it comes with two keys.Basically what it does is when it's unlocked, like the position it is now, you're able to push it in and move it up and down.
Once you put in your key and then you turn it to lock it and remove it, it won't allow you to push it in as far. So it won't release on the upright arm and it won't move. So it keeps it locked over your bike so nobody can just come up and open it and take your bike. Overall height on this from the very bottom to the very top is going to be right at 10".But that should do it for the review on the replacement short frame hook for the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider or Trail Rider Z-Spec bike racks..
It’s exactly what I needed however now I have two different keys for the bike rack. How could I get a hook that has the same key as the ret of the Hollywood bike rack? Could a locksmith re key it?

The design has change and the part no longer has a ratchet, but it will work on the bike rack
