Hi, I just want to ask about the distance between the arms that holds the bike frame? We have a XS and L TREK marlin 5 bikes and I wanted to see if we need to purchase the extra Tubetop Adapter. The XS Marlin 5 bike have a small frame opening. Thanks in advance!

Distance between the center of one arm to center of the other arm of the Yakima FullTilt 5 # Y02463 is 10-1/2 inches. I did some research on your TREK Marlin bikes, and it does look like the XS Marlin 5 bike will need a Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Women's, Children's, and Alternative Frame Bikes # 64005. The adapter will ensure that you have enough bar space to mount the bike to the FullTilt 5.
