Will Vent Cover Allow Vent To Open 100%?

We have a powered maxx vent fan and are looking for a vent cover. We wondered if this would allow the cover to fully open?

This is a common question about this (and other) vent covers. None of the covers are tall enough for a vent lid to open 100%. However, most, including the Fan-Tastic # FVU1500WH, will open most of the way and allow 100% of air flow produced by the fan.
The tallest vent cover we offer is the MaxxAir # MA00-955001 in white, or # MA00-955002 in black.
You might also consider the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan part # MA00-07000K which is a fan with a built in cover. It's downward facing rooftop vent opening probably offers the most resistance to rain while yet remaining open.
