Question:

I have 2 items in my cart to order: 1 C13233Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2inch - C13233 1 T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector -118683 I need a 7 pole connector for my camping trailer but there isnt one recommended for my 2019 Volvo XC 90 T6 Is there a single wiring kit for 7 pole/4 pole or do I need to order 118683 and add a 7 pole adapter? I already have the Curt Echo Brake Controller for my truck and plan to use it in the Volvo, too I would like to place this order today if possible. Thanks!

I'd be happy to help with that.

Although the Curt # C13233 Class III hitch you specified is a fit for the 2019 Volvo XC90, I'd personally prefer the Curt # C53HR that you'd looked at because it's mostly concealed once installed, with the receiver tube and the safety chain hoops being the only visible portion of the hitch.

To install the Curt # C51180 Echo Wireless Brake Controller, you'll first need a functional 4 pole trailer taillight wiring harness, such as what's provided by the # 118683 and our # ETBC7L Trailer Connector Upgrade Kit. The kit includes an adapter to convert the 4 pole provided by the # 118683 to a 7-way, plus the wire, hardware and circuit breaker needed run a circuit to the positive battery terminal to provide power for the Echo wireless brake controller.

To complete your towing system, you'll also need a ball mount like # D-28 and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or
# 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball as well as a # PC3 hitch pin.
