Recommended 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box For 2021 Keystone Montana 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

I have a recessed gooseneck ball in the back of my pickup. We installed CM truck beds which has the gooseneck box. We just bought a 2021 Montana and need to adapt down to the gooseneck as the truck beds are elevated off the frame. A lot of issues i know. what information do you need to recommend a gooseneck pin box? i have need looking at both the Reese and Gen Y with the Gen Y having the most clearance around the coupler.

I reached out to Lippert and based on the Serial number you provided your 2021 Keystone Montana has an 1116 pin box.

For the correct replacement 5th wheel to gooseneck pin box will need the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box - Lippert 1116/1716 - Auto Latch - 25K # GY73FR.

This will be an exact replacement pin box, and connect directly to the gooseneck ball in the back of your flatbed truck. This pin box will give you a much smoother ride due to the shock absorbing design which does a great job of absorbing road shock.
