Question:
For my 2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4x4 w/ 8foot bed, what is the difference between Curt 14008 and Curt 14211?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The difference between the Curt # 14211 and the Curt # C14008 is pretty subtle, but it has to do with how they mount to the frame of the vehicle. The Curt # 14211 mounts in factory drilled holes further forward in the frame allowing it to fit on a 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 HD with an 8 foot or 6 foot bed. The Curt # C14008 will only fit models with an 8 foot bed. The capacities are otherwise identical
