If you're using the Waltech Smart Thermostat (WA74FR - sold separately), the compatible sensors also communicate with the Waltech system so you can monitor your propane supply as part of your connected RV setup. Hi, everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Mopeka Bluetooth Propane Tank Monitor. So if you're already using Mopeka sensors sold separately to keep track of your propane, but you don't want to pull out the phone or tablet every time you need a reading and use their app, this will give you a dedicated handheld display for checking those tanks. And it can be especially useful with an RV that has two propane cylinders. So you can pair up to two compatible Mopeka Bluetooth sensors and then you can show each tank individually with a quick look.
It's going to light up and you're going to be able to see which one is low, which one is full, and know if you need to swap tanks if you don't have an automatic transfer over apparatus on your rig. And that's going to help take out a lot of the guesswork from managing your fuel. So, again, instead of finding out, "Oh my God, I'm low," whenever I'm halfway through cooking dinner and I'm almost out, now you're going to ahead of time, "Okay, I got enough I can cook," or, "I don't have enough" or, "Maybe I need to refill next time I go to town. I'm not going to have enough for hot water," those kind of things. And everything communicates via Bluetooth so you can keep this monitor with you around the campsite or you can mount it to the wall.

Have not had long enough for effectiveness over time, 4 stars because I had difficulty getting one of the two sensors to link to the monitor. Was the Monitor or the sensor the issue, I don’t know. Raises concerns about effectiveness over time that only time will determine
