Recommended Light Weight Cargo Carrier for Use on 2020 Subaru Forester with 1-1/4 Inch Receiver

I have a 2020 Subaru Forester with a dealer installed 1-1/4inch hitch, which has a tongue weight capacity of 150 lbs. Do you have an aluminum cargo carrier that will fit a 1-1/4inch hitch, or can I use a 1-1/4inch to 2inch adapter for this cargo carrier # C18113? Thank you.

I have a solution for you, but I don't recommend using the # C18113 with an adapter since using a hitch adapter would reduce the tongue weight capacity of your hitch by 50%. Instead, you can use the 17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs # C18145 which isn't aluminum but is lightweight at 26-lbs. This carrier would allow you to carry about 125-lbs of cargo on your hitch with a 150-lbs tongue weight and give you a durable Curt carrier.
We do not have a completely aluminum carrier that will fit on your 1-1/4" hitch receiver. I've linked a review video of this carrier for you to check out, too.
