Is the Torklift TLA8102 the right step for my 2018 forest river salem cruise lite 171rbxl?

The TorkLift Glow Step Revolution # TLA8102 are designed to work as a universal replacement option, and won't be coach specific. Additionally, we do not have information that tells us what steps fit on different coaches, so you will want to measure the entry height from the mounting spot to the ground as well as the dimensions of the area the steps would be mounted.
The # TLA8102 are designed to work on coaches that have 18-1/2" - 28" entry heights and requires a 25-1/2" bracket; the same height steps are also available with a 27-1/2" bracket with part # TLA8002.
If you have different dimensions and can provide those, I'm happy to see if there is a better solution.
