Determining if Trailer Has High-Profile Bracket For Torflex Lift Kit K71-707-02 For Tandem Axles

Question:

Hello, I have a question about fitment of this kit on our 1994 Top Line cargo trailer. It has two Dexter #10 3,500 axles and I am sure that this upgrade may work, but I wanted to check with you on the one condition where the information states that those axels with a 3 inch tall bracket on the axel mount may not work? Since I was unsure what this axle bracket looks like, I have included a picture of the mount, Axle before I place the order. Thank you in advance. see attached photo.

We can help you out here, and first, thanks so much for the photo it was super helpful. And based on that I can tell you that your tandem axle trailer with #10 Torflex axles is absolutely compatible with the Dexter lift kit:

Your trailer does not have the 3 inch high profile mounting brackets, and I added a demonstration photo of a trailer that does have those high profile mounting brackets which shows the difference (high-profile brackets are on right-hand photo). As you can see, an axle with a 3 inch tall bracket will essentially look like it already has a lift kit on top.

The axle on your trailer does not have that tall of a bracket, so yes, you can install the Torflex Lift Kit - Tandem Axle # K71-707-02.
