Can Camera be Added to Truck Bed With Furrion Vision S System

Updated 04/07/2021 | Published 04/06/2021

Question:

Can i add an additional furrion camera to use for bed of truck to support backing up and to a 5th wheel hitch? I have a 7 inch Vision S with back up and two side cameras. If so will the image be upside down or inverted or shall i say not use full. If one will work which camera is the best to use Part # as I need to mount somewhere around my upper brake light on may 2019 Ford f250. Currently i use a go pro camera and my phone and it works pretty good but would rather just selct the camera on the screen. Also I ordered a front receiver hitch for my 2019 ford f 250 SD XLT 306-X7904 order 111061506. My question is I may attempt to carry a 400lb motorcycle on a hitch carrier to receiver. The carrier/ ramp could weigh 60-100 lbs and with the motorcycle will way close to 500lbs.. the hitch is rated 1000 lbs so it seems ok but not sure that the front suspension/ ride height will be ok or safe. suggestions- comments? Thank you,

You could add an additional camera view to your Furrion Vision S system that has the 5 inch monitor on it with the part # FCN48TASF. This mount is designed to be used on a flat wall like your application so it would be the correct angle.

The front hitch part # 306-X7904 does have the needed capacity for carrying your motorcycle and carrier but that would be a lot of extra weight on the front suspension. You also have to consider it would block air flow to the radiator as well as the headlights and even possibly your view of the road.
