SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps Entry Height Requirements

Question:
My entry height is 20”, can I still use these steps even though it says a minimum entry of 22”, thinking that the first step will just be short and extend the legs less?

The manufacturer for the SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps for 29" to 36" Wide RV Door Frames - Double - Aluminum
Item # LC733932 says the lowest setting for the legs is 3-4" so you should be able to be at that 20" entry height and you'll just have the entry step be at a lower drop than normal. You'll just want to be careful that you don't trip with it being at an odd height for a first step.
