Lippert website shows LC176440 will fit a lippert 1716 retracted mount pin box. Is this correct? Or do I need to go with the Morryde pin box?

The Trailair Rota-Flex # LC176440 will not fit your 1716 that is on your 5th Wheel Camper. It is a replacement for the 1116 bolt pattern and was confirmed by Lippert to not fit your 1716.
You would need to go with the MORryde Cushioned Pin Box for your 1716 pin box replacement. There are 3 different boxes available dependent on your 5th wheels GVWR.
GVWR up to 11,500lbs # MR57VR
GVWR 11,500-14,000lbs # MR37VR
GVWR 14,000-18,000lbs # MR97VR
