We have the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit # C16200 as there are no custom brackets available for your 1989 Ford F-150. The kit supplies you with the rails, universal install brackets and hardware for installation. If you have already received the rails then add Kit # C16101 it will have everything but the rails that are in the other kit.
The Curt Q20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16130 is a great hitch to consider. It will accommodate more weight than the truck is capable of but the construction of this is what makes it a great hitch that will last for years and can be easily swapped to a larger truck if you decide to upgrade. The hitch is height adjustable from 13" - 17" and is easily maintained with 3 easily accessible lube points.
