Where do the Ends Go on Replacement Fulton Winch Spring for the XLT1401 Winch

where mdoes the other end of the spring go?

Expert Reply:
One end of replacement spring # 4769-28 goes through the smaller hole on the switch. The other end goes through a small hole on the winch housing itself. The spring will need to be oriented correctly to be installed. I have included a diagram that should help.
