Question:
Hi there I’m interested in your fire stone airbag suspension for a 4 Wheel Dr. truck it’s a 2008 Dodge ram 1500. I was looking for a way to help level the truck out when pulling my travel trailer and the dry weight of the trailer is 7020 pounds and has a younger weight of 700 out of that 7020. I do have a anti-sway stabilizing hitch for it but the truck just sags so much and I was wondering if the air ride suspension would help reduce that sag in the rear end. Please let me know what your thoughts would be for me to help me in the situation with any kids that you guys have I would greatly appreciate it thank you.

Air suspensions is a great way to reduce rear sag when weight is added to the back of your 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. The correct air bag kit for you is Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Rear Axle # F2286 or if you have the Mega Cab then you will want to go with Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Rear Axle # F2299. The # F2286 is rated at 4,800lbs and the Mega Cab version # F2299 is rated at 5,000lbs which will be more than enough for your travel trailer. If you don't want to manually inflate and deflate your air bags from the rear of your truck then you can add Firestone Air Command II - Analog - Heavy Duty Compressor & Air Tank 150 psi # F2168 which will allow you to adjust the bags from inside your truck.
These Firestone air bags will not only dramatically reduce rear-end sag on your loaded truck, but will also reduce body roll on turns. This system will improve your braking and overall handling of the vehicle and will reduce wear and tear on your factory suspension. I have attached installation videos for these kits.
