Typically with the COMM ERROR check wiring for the Lippert Ground Control systems the issue is a wiring connection or a bad module which can be replaced with part # LC304136. I'd go over the wiring to the display and module looking for any obvious signs of damage or shorts and fix as needed but if you can't find anything you'd need to go with a module.
