Have 40 Gooseneck race trailer rated at 14000 lbs and would like to replace gooseneck with 5th wheel pinbox. Does the pinbox come with the trailer mounting bracket and hardware or must that be obtained seperately.

So you're wanting a king pin adapter that would take the place of your gooseneck coupler, is that correct?
If that's the case, the best way to do that wouldn't be to add a pin box. You'd want to use a king pin adapter instead. Attempting to use an actual pin box would require lots of fabrication and engineering work to ensure the assembly would have the proper weight rating, as well as achieving the proper height so the trailer is towed level.
The coupler adapter you need will depend on if your existing coupler is a round or a square tube. To replace a round tube coupler, use # KPG5-R30IP or for a square tube, use # KPG5-Q30IP.
Going this route would allow 8 inches of height adjustment, so you can get the trailer level.
