Recommended Trailer Hitch for 1997 Chevy C3500 with Service Body

Question:

Needing to know what hitch I can install on a 1997 C3500 Chevrolet truck with a Knapheide utility body. I have not measured yet, but guessing I need a hitch for a 10 inch bumper? Thanks,

I do have some great trailer hitch options for a 1997 Chevrolet C3500 though none are designed for use with service bodies. That said, we do have options for models with a drop tube bumpers which would be the best option for models with service bodies since the hitch will have a lesser chance of interfering. I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15317 which measures 7-1/4" from the flange to the top of the tube.
