In order to choose the correct braking assemblies for a trailer you'll need to know the type (electric or surge) and axle capacity (we cannot look this up for any given trailer). The axle capacity is usually found on the axle tag. The two most common braking assembly kits we offer for electric brakes is the Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # AKEBRK-35-SA for 3,500 lb axles or the part # AKEBRK-6 for 5,200 lb - 7,000 lb axles.
