Question:

Our doorway is 22.25inch wide between the inside edges of the door flanges where the screen door hits. Is that enough space for the Item # LC713662 to fit?

To measure for fit of the Lippert SolidStep, measure the entry way from right to left at the narrowest point. Generally there will be a flat metal flange that extends out 1/2" all around. This is the flange that the door closes against and keeps the door from trying to swing inside. From that measurement, round up to the next even inch.

So, your door (at the narrowest point) is 21-1/4" wide to the door flange, and rounded up we get 23". The narrowest width for solid steps is 24 inches. At a later measurement you said your measurement to the inside casing was 23-5/8" which will round up to 24" which will work.

You have additionally told me that your entry height is 23"

So if your entry way width is 24" and your entry height is 22" to 28" then the best Lippert SolidStep unit is # LC713662.

I am just imagining that you will take out the old rattle-trap steps that came stock with the trailer. If so, check out the MORryde # MR43RR locking metal storage box to take their place. This is a great storage area for your sewer hose and fittings, or roadside repair supplies, or a place to put electrical cables!
