Rating of Inline Diode on Demco DM66VR Towed Vehicle Charge Line Kit

Question:

I have looked over the specs and watched the video, This looks like a very simple kit and few people need more than this, and I see the lead is fused w/ a 10 amp fuse, but there is zero mention of the diode inline. What is this diode amp rating??

I spoke with my contacts in the tech services department at Demco, and was told that the inline diode used on the # DM66VR charge line kit has the same rating as the inline fuse, which is 10 amps. The diode acts as a check valve which only allows 12V power to travel from the motorhome to the towed vehicle, and will prevent backfeeding.
