How to Connect a Charge Line to a 7-Way Connector

Jerred, In regard to my previous query and your excellent reply both copied below, can I ground the battery in the towed vehicle by attaching the 12 gauge ground wire to the white, ground connection in the Pollak connector so when plugged in, it aligns with the ground in the female, connector on my truck?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, you can. You will want to connect one end of the ground wire to the Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole item # PK12706 and the other end to your cars battery or a suitable grounding location nearby. You'll have to have a ground connected to your Camry for the Battery Charge Wire Kit item # DM66VR to work with the 7-way connector. You will want to use a 12 gauge wire like item # 12-2-1.
I have linked a wiring diagram below that will help you find the correct locations on the 7-way to connect the ground wire and the 12v pin.
