I went out to the warehouse and measured the under floor load ring that is included in the CargoBuckle G3 Cargo Tie-Down, part # IMF18804, to give you an idea of the clearance needed to mount this tie-down to your trailer. This under floor load ring is the part that is used as a template to determine the clearance needed on your trailer. I am including a picture of the under floor load ring as it looks assembled with the tie-down.

The overall length of the load ring is 10-3/8 inches and the overall width of the load ring is 7 inches. The center to center measurement of the 7/16-inch mounting holes is 6-1/2 inches in length and 5-7/16 inches in width. I am including a pictures with all of the measurements listed.

Using the above measurements, you should have no problem installing the tie-down on your trailer floor with 16 inch on center floor cross members.
