Why Will the Hopkins Magnetic Tow Lights not Work on a Couple of my Trucks

I have a brand new 2021 GMC 3500HD Denali I just got and the Hopkins magnetic wireless LED light set I have does not work with my truck nor did they with my previous Ford F350 2019 truck .. Yet I can take them Directly over to a 2018 Dodge 2500 or a 2018 ford or Chev 1500 and they work fine, Why ?

There should be no issues going from manufacturer to manufacturer with the Hopkins Magnetic Tow Lights with 4-Way Flat Connector part # C6304. There can be a few exceptions however.
On some Fords there was an issue where the towing package or mode had to be on for the wiring adapter to receive signals from the wireless transmitter.
There are some vehicles that do not recognize the light or efficient draw we get from LED lights. This high efficiency can sometimes "fool" certain vehicle's trailer wiring systems. In certain cases load resistors like # DI34ZR can be needed to mimic the higher power draw of standard incandescent bulbs. They soak up some power so that the wiring system can detect the LEDs.
