Recommended Replacement Brake Assembly For 3500lb Axle

Will this 12x2 4 Bolt Brake Assembly Works on 3500 4 Bolt axle?

The Dexter Electric Brake Kit for 4 Bolt or 5 Bolt Flange # 23-105-106-09 is designed to work with 6000lb axles with the AL-KO/Hayes 4 bolt flange, and will more than likely not work with your 3500lb axle since it more than likely uses the standard 4 bolt flange.

The standard 4 bolt flange is has the holes 2-7/8" apart center to center, and the AL-KO/Hayes has a pretty odd pattern that you can see with the dimensions in the included diagram. You will want to measure the flange on your axle to confirm which pattern you have.

Since your 3500lb axle more than likely has the standard 4 bolt flange the 10" brakes like the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit # 23-26-27 will be the correct replacement brakes for you as they are designed for 3500lb axles.
