How To Lower Bike Rack Connection Without Reducing Weight Capacity

Question:
I have a 2004 Z71 Tahoe. I bought a Hollywood eBike rack from you in April, which is great, but my question is, can I use a 4 to 8 receiver with my existing 2 hitch with the Ebike rack? We have 2 eBikes that weigh approx. 130 lbs combined on the rack. I dont want to strain a receiver and have it break going down the road. The reason for the receiver is we have to lift the bikes pretty high to get them on the rack. If we didnt have to raise the bike so high, it would be a lot easier for us. I would also need a receiver that I can lock to the existing hitch like my Hollywood Rack does. Would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

I do have an option for you to drop the connection point with the bike rack and that is with the Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount part # 325-GH-303. This is one of the only options that won't reduce weight capacity and it can be used for towing a well with the Replacement 2-Ball Mount part # 325-GH-031 if need be.
The Roadmaster High-Low Adapter part # RM-048-4 is a more cost effective option but will reduce the weight capacity of the hitch by 50% or 400 lb, whichever is lower.
