Replacement Bearing Kit for Hubs with L44649 Outer Bearing and 442251 National Grease Seal

Question:

2005 Haulmark trailer M# RVT 85X19DT2 / GVWR 7000 Not able to get all the numbers off the bearings/ seal. Outer bearing L44649?, Inner seal 442251 National? How do I find out what bearing kit i need, looking for bearing kits for both axles.

In order to find the correct bearing kit you will need to know all of the components that it contains, including either the numbers of both bearings or their sizes; the good news is that most of this can be determined with the information you've provided.

It appears that the most likely configuration for this trailer is 2- 3500-lbs axles, which would match up with your outer bearing being an # L44649; additionally the National 442251 seal has an inner diameter of 1.719" and outer diameter of 2.565", so the replacement seal would be the # 58846 . These would be paired with an # L68149 inner bearing, so the complete kit with all of these components is the Bearing Kit for #84 Spindle, L44649/L68149 Bearings, 10-19 Double Lip Seal # BK2-100; for a tandem axle trailer you would need 4 of these kits- 1 for each spindle/hub.
