In order to choose the correct weight distribution system for your truck and trailer, it is really important to know your trailer's loaded and ready to tow tongue weight. Since this is the primary weight being distributed by a weight distribution system, it is the main factor in choosing a properly rated system.

If you end up towing your camper at it's max gross vehicle weight rating of 6,500 lbs, and the tongue weight falls between 10% and 15% of the total trailer weight, we can expect your trailer's tongue weight to be around 845 lbs.

At this weight, I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37101ET. This weight distribution system is designed to work with tongue weights between 600-1,000 lbs. Your trailer's tongue weight will likely come in in the mid-to-upper range of this which is ideal. The 4-point sway control will keep your trailer in line with your Raptor as you tow it down the road. The Equal-i-zer systems have a great reputation and are made here in the USA.

This system does not come with a shank, which is great in your situation with a higher-ride truck. You will likely need a shank that offers a greater drop than a standard shank offers. I have linked a help article that covers how to determine how much drop you will need. If you find you need 4 inch of drop or less, the Equal-i-zer shank # EQ90-02-4200 is a great option. They also have options for up to a 6 inch drop # EQ90-02-4300 and up to a 9 inch drop # EQ90-02-4400.
