For your 2017 Lexus GX 460 you will want to use the Universal Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controller Control Knob # 331-TPSI-001 which will include the drilling template to install this panel on any flat spot of your vehicle's interior that measures 1" wide x 1 1/2" tall. This option will give a more finished look to the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR when installed.
The Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controller Control Knob # 331-TPSI-002 you referenced is for select Toyota and Mitsubishi vehicles that have a factory switch panel with blanks that measure 1 1/4" tall x 7/8" wide.
You can also install the Redarc # RED44FR without a mounting panel if you wanted a smaller option.
