Is a Battery Charge Line Needed When Flat-Towing a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee

Question:
I’m actually thinking of using a RVI3 aux brake unit with a wireless again less wiring breakaway. Since it ,or others plug into a lighter socket for power,do I need a battery charging wire on this year and model Jeep? Thanks again,

The Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles part # RM-156-25 can be installed on a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee. If you will be pulling power from the vehicle's battery while in tow then it would be a good idea to use the charge line to ensure you don't have a dead battery when you arrive at your destination and are ready to unhook the vehicle from the motorhome.
