How to Transfer B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch to Ford Truck With Puck System

Question:

I bought a BandW companion hitch that fits GM puck system. I now have a Ford with the puck system. Is there an adapter plate that goes from Ford puck, to mount the GM puck hitch.

There is a way you can still use your B&W Companion 5th wheel hitch in your Ford truck with the puck system, although there isn't any type of adapter. The only way you can do this is to replace the base of the Companion with the one that fits the Ford puck system. The correct base will depend of if you need the slider or the fixed version.
