Can Tekonsha P2 or P3 Brake Controller be Used in Tow Vehicle with Air Brakes

Hello, I have a 2016 Western Star 4900SF with air brakes and a 2017 Big Tex 20AC trailer with electric brakes. Will this Tekonsha P2 or the Tekonsha P3 work for this particular setup Thank you

Yes, since your trailer has electric brakes a P2 part # 90885 or a P3 part # 90195 will work great with your setup. The fact that your tow vehicle has air brakes would not matter as the controllers use the brake light circuit for activation.
