Question:
Hi, I am looking for a kit to put disc brakes on my trailer. 14 inch wheels, 5x4.5 lugs, and the backing plate holes are on 2-13/16 centers. Looking for surge assembly for 2-5/16 ball, as well as all stainless set for one axle.

To add hydraulic disc brakes to your trailer you will need a few parts.
For a hub and rotor assembly I recommend the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 10" Hub/Rotor - 5 on 4-1/2 - Dacromet - 3,500 lbs # K2HR35D which will allow you to use your 14" wheels and bolts to your 4 bolt brake flange. You will need to confirm that your spindles use inner bearing # L68149 and outer bearing # L44649, but since all of our 14" wheel options use those bearings this should be the kit you need.
You will need inner bearing # L68149, outer bearing # L44649, and grease seal # RG06-050. The required races are included with the Kodiak Kit.
For a 2 5/16" surge assembly I recommend the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator w Drop and Electric Lockout # DM8104311.
Lastly you will need brakes lines, but we do not offer stainless steel brake lines. I recommend the Kodiak Hydraulic Brake Line Kit - Single Axle - 18' # 18SI-BLKIT or the HydraStar Hydraulic Brake Line Kit # HS496-251 if your trailer is longer that 18'.
I included videos for all of the parts mentioned and a helpful article that goes over adding hydraulic disc brakes to a trailer for you to take a look at.
