Will 3,500 lb Kodiak Disc Brake Kit Fit 2012 EZ Loader Boat Trailer

Hello, Will kodiac kit K2R35D fit my EZ Loader trailer model TEZB 19 - 22/24 4700 4300? Trailer is a 2012 model. Currently has old Dexter DB35 brakes.

Hi Dave; the old Dexter DB-35 brakes are designed for 3,500 lb axles. I believe that was a hub/rotor disc brake kit so the Kodiak Disc # K2R35D will work for your trailer as long as you add a hub like # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern and have wheels that are 14" or larger. You could also replace it using the # K2HR35D which has the full hub/rotor.

Thanks for the reply. My trailer has the rotor over hub (hub stays on, rotor is held on by wheel lug nuts) style brakes. That would mean the Kodiac kit here would work right? Thanks
