Heavy Duty Shackle Kit for Lippert 4,400 lb Axles

Question:

I want to upgrade my fifth wheel suspension to thick shackles and greaseable bolts. My axles are Lippert item #V000315277 or Cust part # 142500 and are 4400#. Can you recommend a kit from LCI or Etrailer

For a heavy duty shackle kit that would work well on your 4,400 lb axles we have the Dexter HD shackle kit part # K71-358-00. These shackles are really thick at 1/2 inches.

You would need to order two sets of the # K71-358-00, six of # 126B2 for wet bolts, four of the # D014-077-00 for bushings, and six # 006-092-01 for nuts.
