I checked with B&W for you, and the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch with Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1057 will fit a 2009 Chevy Silverado 1500 with a 5-1/2 foot bed.
You may have clearance issues with such a short bed, however, so I highly recommend adding an offset ball, the 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches # BWGNXA4085.
The other thing you may need if you don't have one is a gooseneck wiring harness, the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness # C56000.
