What is Weight Capacity of Load Range E Trailer Tire in Size ST225/75R15

Question:
I have viewed many opinions about trailer tires, ST vs LT, china bombs, etc. My question is more basic. My 5th wheel has a listed GVWR of 11,581 lbs. The math I am using says each tires must be able to carry 2,895 lbs. Tires are ST225/75R15 Load Range E, which are rated at 2830 lbs. I note some are 2860. Seems to me, that based on GVWR, I am already overloaded. What am I missing?

With a Load E tire like the Karrier part # AM10303 you would have a tire capacity of 2,830 lb which based on your correct match would put you a little under the max weight capacity of your trailer. That doesn't mean you are necessarily overloading the tires though as there's a very good chance your trailer isn't at it's max weight capacity.
