Recommended Truck Bed Rail When Using the Truck Hero Elevate Rack System On A 2018 Toyota Tundra

Question:

Hi I have a 2018 tundra crewmax with a bakflip mx4 tonneau cover, I was wondering if.. 1. This part needs to be installed under the tonneau cover rails? Looks to me like i would need to take the cover rails off, install this part and re install tonneau cover rails on top. In terms of clearance, I have the deck rail system lowered with brackets provided by bakflip. 2. Which cross bars will fit on the tslot rails. 3. What length would work best for me? Thanks!! Yes, the TS (T-Slot) Rails for Truck Hero Elevate Rack System # TH75FR will need to be installed underneath the rails of your BakFlip MX4 Tonneau Cover. You could get the Rhino-Rack Vortex Crossbar System # RRVA180B-RRRLT600 which are 71 inches long. This is going to be a bit wider than the rails of your truck and will fit in the tslot rails. That will be a good length and fit for your 2018 Toyota Tundra.
