Question:
I have a Thule T2 pro XT bike rack. Even in with the bike rack in the lowered position with no bikes on it, the tail gate hits the rack. This means as long as it is on the truck I cant lower the tail gate. Any suggestions? Would the Kuat NV 2.0 have the same issue?

I have a great solution that will allow to continue using your Thule T2 Pro XT and allow you to open your truck tailgate with bikes loaded with the Yakima BackSwing Swing Away Hitch Extender part # Y02483 which allow the entire bike rack to swing out and away from the rear of the truck for tailgate access. The NV 2.0 would not offer the additional clearance as this adapter would be only solution that would.
I attached an install/review video for this adapter.
