Does the hitch move around any once it is installed into the mount?

No, when installing the B&W # BWRVK3400-5W into a B&W Turnoverball there won't be any slack, as the post on the Companion hitch is designed to fit specifically into a Turnoverball system; there might be a slight rattle, but it should fit snugly into the gooseneck hitch.
