Question:

Hi. I see where you indicate that this hitch will not work with a larger than 18” spare, but does the fact that I have a doughnut, not full size spare make this hitch work with my MDX? Thanks. Many of the this years MDX models now come standard with 20” rims.

You're correct. As long as your MDX has the temporary or 'donut' spare tire stowed under the vehicle, the Curt Class III # C13146 will work great. Space is tight under that vehicle, which is why a 20 inch spare would interfere with the hitch.

If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll need a couple of other accessories to complete your towing setup. For a trailer wiring harness, use # 118628. You'll also need a # 2753 ball mount and # 19260 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch trailer ball.
