Will ETBC7L 7-Way Attach to OEM Hitch for 2024 Subaru Outback Wagon

Question:

Hello, Im planning to install the OEM Subaru hitch and 4-pin wiring harness for my Outback Wilderness. Id like to upgrade to a 7-pin connector and have added the ETBC7L kit to my shopping cart. The OEM hitch has a bracket for a pin connector. Im wondering if the ETBC7Ls bracket is compatible with the OEM bracket, or if Ill need an additional bracket, such as the 18140. Hey Patrick, I checked out the OEM hitch for your 2024 Subaru Outback and it's trailer wiring bracket looks exactly like the type of bracket that the 7-way of the # ETBC7L is designed to work with so it would work as-is. Are you planning on installing a brake controller too? I'm curious why you went with the part # ETBC7L.

Hi Jameson, Thanks for your quick response and checking about the brake controller. I have a Prodigy RF Electronic Brake Controller installed. As far as I understood ETBC7L should work in this case. Is this correct? Thanks! Best, Patrick
