Are Safety Chains Required with the Demco Recon

Was wondering if safety chains would be required for use of this hitch.

The Demco Recon # DM8550045-5W doesn't require the use of safety chains, and most 5th wheel pin boxes don't have safety chains, so there's not any requirement to do so when using this 5th wheel hitch. If you've got a spot on your pin box to add safety chains (or they're already installed) you can connect them to any existing safety chain loops in the truck bed.
