Will the 24x60 Folding Cargo Carrier for 2 inch Trailer Hitches Rust if Used on the Beach

Question:

I understrand that it is coated for rust resistance, However does this carrier would resist rust even when I drive on the beach all the time with it attached to my truck, or I have to look for one that is not made from steel.

The Cargo carriers that we carry are powder coated for rust resistance and will stay rust free as long as the coating is not compromised. Driving with the cargo carrier invariably causes road debris to chip and scratch the surface causing the carrier to rust. The only way to keep the carrier rust free is to perform regular maintenance, cleaning and painting, to keep the carrier nice. On a beach the salt from the water and air and the sand will definitely make the maintenance schedule more often and even an aluminum carrier would be subject to oxidization and would require maintenance.
