What is the distance from the ground to the bottom of the trailer hitch on the 2012 Kia Soul?

On the 2012 Kia Soul, the Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 24839, measures 9-1/2 inches from the top of the receiver opening to the ground. From the bottom of the receiver it would be 8 inches. I have included a video showing a typical installation on a 2012 Kia Soul that shows this measurement.

If you plan on doing some towing you will need ball mount # 3593, hitch pin and clip # PC2, a 1-7/8 inch ball # 19256 or a 2 inch ball # 19258. For trailer wiring you can use # 118431 or, if you have LED lights, use # 118637.
