Question:
Kwikee part# 151320-1. It will not open or close all the way! When it stops it jerks back and forth a little. Took it apart. All gears looked good but there is one with a triangular hole in it and the grease in it was dry and crumbled could that be the problem ???

Normally if the Kwikee steps are having a hard time fully extending or retracting and there's a jerking motion at the same time that would indicate that there's a gear, gear box or linkage problem. Dry grease would not typically cause this problem but that doesn't mean it's not related in someway. Based on you having the Kwikee 32 Series the gear box is most likely the issue and you'd want the part # LC379160 to replace it.
