Question:

Recently my steps extend okay, but I hear a loud grinding noise on retraction. I would like to order the correct gearbox. I have the Kwikee Gear/Linkage A curved and the LCI 366043 actuator motor. I read on your site that the gearbox screws and threaded screw holes on the replacement gearbox may not be compatible with my step model. I could not read the step series label. Can you tell me which replacement gearbox is compatible?

Sure thing; the correct replacement gear box for your Lippert 366043 motor and A linkage is the following:

This is correct for the curved "A" linkage you have; other gear boxes have "B" and "C" linkage, which is straight, so the # LC379160 is exactly what you need, and is compatible.
