Kwikee 32 Series Steps Will Not Automatically Retract when Driving

Question:

I have the quickie 32 series step however instead of the step staying out when Im parked the steps stay out when Im driving. It sounds like to me there are some wires maybe crossed do you have a wiring diagram for the steps so that I can check to make sure that it is wired correctly the switch for the steps when its on the steps will retract but when the switch is off the steps will stay out if the vehicle is moving when Im parked they just go in and out they dont stay out Regardless of the switch position Would appreciate any help in this matter thank you

Something is miswired or shorting for sure. Definitely don't want to have the steps out while moving! I have included some pictures that should help. Do your steps operate with a manual override switch? If so then it is likely that switch. If the steps are supposed to lock out or unlock automatically when the ignition is turned on then it is likely the ignition wire in one of the connectors for the steps.
