Question:

can the standoffs on the la-401ba be positioned to match the mounting holes on my thor palazzo? i bought it used and the ladder is missing.

I have a solution for you, and it sounds like you're wanting to reposition the mounting brackets on the Stromberg Carlson # LA-401BA, which isn't going to be possible. These types of ladders are designed to be a fairly universal fit, so rarely will they fit in the existing mounting holes exactly.

What you can do is mount the # LA-401BA normally and then just use either some JB Weld, or a silicone sealant to plug the holes up and avoid allowing any water to seep into the coach and cause damage; JB weld is probably the best solution for this, but if the mounting holes are going to be covered by the new brackets the silicone will also work.
